Scientometrics unit

Scientometrics is defined as the measurement of science, which by examining and discovering the system and structure of a scientific field in a quantitative way, determines the achievements of an intellectual realm and even predicts possible lines for future developments. Scientometrics tries to describe science and scientific research and determine its characteristics by using quantitative data related to the production, distribution and use of scientific texts. The Scientometrics Unit of Golestan University of Medical Sciences, with the aim of achieving the specified goals in the field of Scientometrics, provides services in order to explain the situation and guide the researches of academic staff members and researchers.
